I stumbled across Instagram’s post yesterday – and was immediately drawn to it. This multi-faceted artist (who is also a baker, designer and photographer) encompasses creepy and creative, in her baked goodies and stages her photo shoots in retro-inspired settings! All my favorites! Her name is Christine H. McConnell. Of course I did some research and found out she lives in Twin Peaks, California. If she doesn’t really, then she should. But I also saw that she’s from Los Angeles, also. I also noticed she’s getting ready to publish a book called Deceptive Desserts [available March 2016, but you can pre-order now]. Too bad it’s not out now but at least I put it in my Christmas wish list.
My point? If you like creepy, creative concoctions, styled in a twisted and vintage setting, she is your gal!
