Shoegaze music – those dreamy swirly guitars always brings me back to my days in California…my salad days<\/a>…
\ni miss those days.<\/p>\n

Instead of listening to the airplanes late at *night, I would loop “Lazy Calm<\/a>” by the Cocteau Twins<\/a>…until I fell asleep.
\ni had one of those remote controlled cd players [great invention].<\/p>\n

Don’t get me wrong, I love where I am now…no longer single and wanting.
\nBut, sometimes I internally cry because it’s the past and you can never duplicate those feelings; those longings.
\nSure, some days were painful, but in those days I found refuge in seeking creativity. Maybe that’s what it is; I find I long for that same creative energy again.<\/p>\n

Maybe I need to listen to more shoegaze again [because I certainly don’t want to be in “pain”, if I can help that].<\/p>\n

My faves of the time were The Autumns<\/a> and Cocteau Twins<\/a> and Slowdive<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now listening to: Dream Koala<\/a>…so minimalist yet poignant. Kind of like a 1 or 2 color print job.
\nSo many correlations…#designnerdtalkingnow
\nIt is TRULY time to go to bed now.<\/p>\n
